School Lunch

We encourage healthy eating in St. Mary’s.

St. Mary’s has a Healthy Eating Policy which encourages the children to eat healthily.  Friday is our Treat Day and on this day only, one small treat is allowed to be included in the lunch box.

We ask you to encourage a healthy lunch right from the start. Please, give your child something you feel he/she can easily manage to eat. Lunch boxes should be “easy open”. Glass bottles are not allowed. Drink bottles should be spill proof.

St. Mary’s is a NUT FREE school.  Nuts of any kind are not allowed on the premises.

Please inform the school if your child has any food ingredient allergies.

Foods Not Allowed: crisps, chewing gum, popcorn, chocolate covered products, lollipops, cans, fizzy drinks, any products containing nuts and frubes.  Sweets and chocolate are only allowed on Friday.
