When it is necessary for your child to leave school early, the class teacher must be informed (with as much advance notice as possible). When collecting a child, parents/guardians are asked to call to the Secretary’s Office/Reception. The child/children will be called from the classroom and will meet the parent/guardian at the front door. Any person collecting a child on behalf of the parent/guardian will only be permitted to take the child if the parent/guardian has contacted the school beforehand.
In the event of your child being absent for illness or any other reason, the school/class teacher must be informed. This can be done through the Aladdin app. A record of this is retained on file for inspection by Tusla Child & Family Agency if required. It is very important that your child misses as few days of school as possible so please bear this in mind before booking holidays.
