Christmas 2021

Our Beautiful Christmas Tree with our annual Christmas raffle prizes underneath!!!!

The true meaning of Christmas! Our Advent Wreath, as we prepare to celebrate the birthday of Jesus. We’re counting down to the special day when the baby Jesus was born in a humble stable in Bethlehem.

The baby Jesus was placed in our crib this week at our final school assembly.

Santa’s elves are busy at this time of the year!!! Here they are, working hard in their workshop!!!

Lots of things happened in St. Mary’s this Christmas! Here’s just a few of them…….

Normally, we would be looking forward to our annual Christmas Carol Service in Ashbourne Church at this time of the year! Unfortunately, this could not happen this year. The two fourth classes produced a very special Nativity video to tell the true meaning of Christmas: the celebration of the birth of Jesus. Well done to all the children for the effort they put into their artwork and their voice recordings to make each of these beautiful videos! Well done to Ms. Bennett and Mr. Ó Brádaigh too, on their fantastic video-editing skills! We hope you all enjoy each video!
